German coach Jan Haller donates E-bike to team Ghana’s coach Elvis Alipui

With the help of Samnez Adaptive Sports Foundation last Saturday at the Adabraka Rehabilitation center, Coach for team Ghana’s para basketball team, Elvis Alipui received an E-bike wheelchair to reduce physical strength, facilitate mobility, and help him coach his compatriots to bring laurels, glory and honor to Mother Ghana.

The donation was done by a German Coach, Jan Haller who was touched by team Ghana’s Coach and Players condition upon encounter and decided to help his colleague in management. After few hours to days of arrival, Coach Elvis navigated through the manual and has started using the wheelchair with all cheer, and excitement.

With slogan of ‘momentum for challenging heights’. Coach Elvis Alipui shared his emotions with the news team just after receiving the wheelchair.

After some exhibition matches and shout out contest, a session of the para shared their plight and experience on the day with the media.

Samnez Adaptive Sports Foundation is a foundation with a Vision to create a regional hub that connects athletes, mainly Persons with Disabilities and their community with opportunities to compete, learn and improve their wellbeing.
