The Ghana Football Association has formally warned Bigscout Media over a video alleging a Black Stars call-up scheme involving CF Montréal forward Prince Owusu.

The GFA says the claims are false, demanded removal of the video and a public retraction, and warned that it may pursue legal action if Bigscout Media does not comply within 48 hours.

The association also denied that any official ever sought a share of Owusu’s earnings in exchange for a call-up, saying the publication was made without verification and damaged its reputation.
