Ghana and United Nations launch five year partnership framework

Ghana and the United Nations have launched a five year partnership framework in Accra to support National Development efforts. The programme will end in 2022.

Key results expected to be achieved from the partnership are; shared prosperous economy, social investment in people, protected and safe environment, and inclusive accountable governance.

The Chief Director at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration, Albert Yankey said government remains committed to the ideals of the UN and will ensure that the benefits of the SDG’s which include the elimination of poverty at all levels benefit Ghanaians.
