Ghana bans travellers from countries with more than 200 Coronavirus cases

All travels to the country have been discouraged until further notice, Minister of Information, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah announced this in Accra during a media briefing.

“This is part of government’s new travel directives for persons seeking to enter Ghana after the outbreak of the deadly coronavirus in the country.”

Mr Oppong Nkrumah disclosed that travellers from coronavirus-hit countries with cases exceeding 200 will not be allowed into the  jurisdiction.

He also announced plans on mass gatherings  and other social events.
