A Design Manual for Low Volume Roads has been launched in Accra in a bid to ensure proper planning and designing of road networks in the country.
The 500 page manual focuses on building the capacity of stakeholders in the sector.
A Deputy Minister of Roads and Highways, Anthony Karbo, who launched the manual on behalf of the sector Minister, intimated that development of the Road Transport Sector is pivotal to the development agenda of government.
He therefore encouraged players in the sector to utilise the manual fully to enhance road networks.
