Ghana Police announces temporary closure and diversion of 2 streets in Accra ahead Busumuru's Funeral

The Ghana Police Service has announced the temporary closure and diversion of two streets in Accra ahead of the funeral and burial service of the late former United Nations Secretary-General, Kofi Annan.

In a tweeted statement signed by the Director-General, Public Affairs, ACP David Eklu the affected roads; Osu Cemetery Traffic Light on the Lokko Street (Road) and the Castle road (from AU Circle to Osu Cemetery Traffic Light) will be closed between Tuesday, September 11 to Thursday, September 13, 2018.

The Police further advised motorists plying the Lokko Street to use the Ajumaku and Oxford Streets at alternative routes while traffic from the AU Circle has been diverted unto the Abdul Diouf and King Hassan roads.
