Ghana is progressing steadily towards the development of nuclear power to propel industrial development through cheaper energy.
In an effort to facilitate the process, a broad stakeholder consultation has taken place in Accra to solicit the commitment of players.
A comprehensive report from the consultation will be presented to the government, to take the final decision.
At the Nuclear Power Programme, it was obvious that Energy generating companies are in support of nuclear energy.
This is because of the support they have been giving in the developmental milestones that nations are supposed to go through as stipulated by the international Atomic Energy Agency.
