Ghana records second coronavirus death with 25 existing cases

Ghana has recorded her second coronavirus death.
According to the Ghana Health Service, the number of confirmed cases has also increased to 25, making the total number of confirmed cases 27 including the two deaths.
The Service says 521 suspected cases have so far been tested for COVID-19 by Noguchi Memorial Institute for Medical Research and Kumasi Centre for Collaborative Research.
The Ghana Health Service says the 25 persons who tested positive are receiving treatment in isolation.
In respect of contact tracing, 598 contacts have been identified and are being tracked.
The Service added that one of the contacts developed symptoms and was confirmed positive while Nineteen others have completed the 14 day mandatory follow up.
