Some traders in parts of the Capital – Accra, have found a new purpose for the country’s underpasses. A look around shows that some have been transformed into a commercial centre and the huge space beneath the highway makes it convenient to bustle with trading activities. However, both traders and patrons seem oblivious to the dangers inherent, if an accident should occur. GBC’s Clara Mlano visited two Underpass Markets on the Accra-Nsawam Highway and reports that trading flourishes at Ofankor underpass.
