Ghanaian start-ups have been urged to take advantage of the rapid growth of e-commerce in the country and on the continent to improve their businesses.

The growth of e-commerce in Ghana in the last seven years is said to be phenomenal following the introduction of a number of online platforms that consumers can easily buy and sell with just a click.

According to the Head of Sales of Jumia Ghana, Oluyeye Adeeko, e-commerce has come to improve the way of doing business as it reduces fraud and is efficient.

Mr Adeeko was speaking at the media launch of Jumia Mall, a new variant of the brand which gives consumers the opportunity to shop directly from their favorite brands on the Jumia Platform.
