Ghana’s COVID-19 case count reaches 15,472

Ghana’s COVID-19 case count has risen to 15, 472 with 11, 433 recoveries. This was after 459 new cases were recorded from 34 districts within nine regions.

The death toll remains at 95.

This was announced by the Director-General of the Ghana Health Service, Dr Patrick Kuma Aboagye at the Ministry of Information’s Press Briefing in Accra.

As of today, we have recorded 15,472 cumulative cases from the first day some persons tested positive in the country. Out of this, 9,146 has come from enhanced contact tracing Dr Patrick Kuma Aboagye said.

Dr Patrick Kuma Aboagye said out of the 15,472 recorded cases 9,146 of it came from enhanced contact tracing and 6,327 came from general surveillance.

The active cases now stand at 3,947 with 2 in critical condition and 6 severely ill.
