Management of the Ghana Institute of Public Administration, GIMPA has clarified reports that it has blocked some students from writing the on-going end of Semester examinations.

A statement signed by the Secretary of the Institute, Julius Atikpui, referred to scheduled mode of payment of fees to enable students to register and take part in examinations.

In ensuring compliance with rules and regulations, the academic board directed that only students who fully pay their fees and register qualify to attend lectures and write the end of semester examinations.

The system could not capture students who failed to register and are therefore not in good standing.

The statement said students who did not register to write the semester examinations, have the opportunity to register at the next offering of the courses in accordance with the rules of the Institute.

Management of GIMPA therefore urges students to respect deadlines to avoid denial to write examinations.
