The Minister of Communications, Mrs Ursula Owusu- Ekuful, has encouraged girls in basic schools to be passionate and harness the opportunities that ICT offers.
She argues that, with desire and determination, young girls in Ghana can have opportunities in ICT and even create jobs for themselves, provided they remain focused on their studies.
Mrs Owusu-Ekuful said this at the opening of a Mentorship Workshop as part of the Second National Girls in ICT Day held in Takoradi in the Western Region.
