The Ghana Medical Association (GMA), has asked government to suspend the proposed drones medical deliveries deal.

According to the GMA, the proposed services to be provided by the drones, do not conform to the existing primary health care policy .

Speaking on GBC’s Current Affairs Programme, ‘Behind The News’, Dr. Beyuo called for broader stakeholder consultations on the subject matter.

The MP for Breku East and Chairman of the Committee on Health, Dr. Kwabena Twum Nuama said he does not agree with speculations from people that Parliament rushed in endorsing the Drone deal.
