The Ghana Water Company has uncovered an illegal connection directed into a dam operated by a private entity, Mannah Farms at Afienya Mataheko.
The connection which was tapped from the main distribution line from Kpone invariably disrupts water distribution to the Tema Municipality and its environs.
The Tema Regional Manager of Ghana Water, Kenneth Ennin, who led the team to disconnect the lines spoke to Radio Ghana about the impact of illegal operations on the Company.
Meanwhile, Owner of Mannah Farms at Afienya Mataheko Lemuel Kwashie Martey, when contacted on phone denied connecting water illegally.
