Doctors, nurses and other health practitioners have been advised to ensure the tools and equipment they work with which are marked with measurements are properly calibrated by the Ghana Standards Authority.
This is to avoid wrong diagnosis, which often lead to the untimely death of patients.
In an interview with GBC’s Radio Ghana, the Director of Corporate Communications of the Ghana Standards Authority, Dr. Kofi Amponsah-Bediako said the healthcare delivery will be improved if all equipment are calibrated by the authority.
