Cape Coast Teaching Hospital Board inaugurated

Minister of Health Kwaku Agyemang Manu has charged the newly inaugurated governing board of Cape Coast Teaching Hospital to bring their rich experiences to bear to enhance the fortunes of the hospital.

He said their decisions should bring value to management decisions which will impact the lives of clients, employees and other stakeholders of the hospital.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony in Accra, Mr. Manu told the nine-member board that they are accountable to government and should endeavor not to put its name into disrepute.

He asked them to tackle problems they may encounter with tact in order not to affect their clients negatively.

On behalf of the board, former MP for Kade Ofosu Asamoah pledged the board’s commitment to ensure the smooth running of the hospital.

Other members of the board include Chief Executive of the FDA, Delese Darko, Former GMA President Kwabena Opoku Adusei Senior Lecturer and Dean of Nursing and Midwifery at the University of Cape Coast Nancy Akuenya and Central Regional NPP Chairman Robert Kutin.
