The Deputy Director of Health in charge of Public Health in the Bono Region, Dr. Ekow Otoo says the Kintampo Health Research Center needs to be urgently upgraded into a Covid-19 testing center to reduce the turnaround time for Covid-19 testing which has grown from six hours to about a week before test results are obtained.
Dr. Otoo said this in an interview with the GBC on the sidelines of a presentation of quantities of bottled water, liquid soap and paper napkins to the Bono Regional Coordinating Council and the Ghana Health Service in Sunyani.
