The Kumasi Metro Directorate of health has within a week of the Covid 19 vaccination covered more than 80 percent of its target.
The vaccine, according to the directorate, is enough to cover the over 40,000 people earmarked to be vaccinated during the second phase of the exercise.
The Metro Disease Control Officer, Crenstil Atuahene, who disclosed in an interview in Kumasi, told GBC’s Thomas Nsowah Adjei that the second round has been very smooth attributing it to the experience people had during the first exercise.
