Aid workers, the International Rescue Committee say more than 629 people have died since last August.
Fifty eight new cases was recoded last week, making it the highest number in 2019.
The group said DR Congo had reached a “tragic milestone” adding that from an optimistic outlook, the outbreak is predicted to last another six months – but realistically it could be another year of fighting the Ebola disease.
