Concerns over rampant armed robberies on Emergency Care Providers

The Emergency Medical Technicians Association, EMTAG, says it is worried about recent armed robbery attacks on the emergency service providers.

Speaking at a workshop organized by EMTAG, its Public Relations Officer, Sibaway Issah expressed disgust about the cases of robbery attacking ambulances. He said EMTAG is concerned about the safety of Ghanaians as armed robbers are now targeting ambulances. He appealed to motorists to be extra careful on the roads, especially when they see ambulances passing.

The Deputy Director, Compensation and Welfare at the National Ambulance Service, Ellen Gasu while commending health service workers for their dedication, urged them to be concerned about their safety.
