Ghana is ready to respond to any outbreak of the Ebola virus.
BriefingParliament on the country’s preparedness, the Minister for Health, Kwaku Agyeman-Manu said the Public Health System is generally in line with handling other health emergencies that may come up.
He said since the outbreak of Ebola in West Africa, the Ministry and its agencies have been monitoring the situation.
According to Mr. Agyemang-Manu, a national action plan for health security is being developed as part of the implementation of the international health regulation.
