The Johnson and Johnson vaccination exercise is expected to end today.

The five-day exercise, which started on August 16, was targeted at the Greater Accra and Ashanti Regions which have been identified as epicenters.

Reports say, most vaccination centers recorded high patronage. Ghana has taken delivery of another 249,600 doses of AstraZeneca vaccines from the UK government.

The vaccines, which were delivered on Wednesday through the COVAX facility, were received at the Airport by Deputy Minister of Health, Tina Mensah.

The Ghana Health Service, however, says priority will be given to persons who took the first jab of the AstraZeneca vaccine in March and are yet to receive their second jab.
