Ghana records nine more COVID-19 deaths with 790 new cases

Ghana has recorded 798 new cases of COVID-19 taking the country’s tally to 37,812. According to the Ghana Health Service Portal 34,313 persons have either recovered or been discharged of the virus.

The death toll, however is 191, meaning nine more people have succumbed to the virus. Ghana’s active cases currently stand at 3,308.

Greater Accra Region has the highest number followed by Ashanti. North East Region has the least cases.
