Ghana is expected to receive 350,000 more doses of the AstraZeneca Vaccine on Tuesday, May 4.
1.5 million doses of the Russian Sputnik Vaccine will also be in the country on May 15, 2021. So far, one million people in the country have received the first dose of the jab.
Speaking at this year’s May Day, President Akufo-Addo said International Vaccine politics and erratic power supply have thrown the government’s vaccination plan out of gear.
He however assured the nation that government is working hard to secure more vaccines and return the economy back on track.
President Akufo-Addo asked organized Labour to champion the wearing of nose mask, adding that, the workplace should be a safe place for workers.
