Ghanaians urged to wear the face masks the proper way

The Deputy Director for Public Health in the Bono region, Dr John Ekow Otoo, has questioned the manner in which Ghanaians are going about the wearing of nose masks as a way of protecting them and others they come into contact with from contracting Covid-19.

According to Dr Otoo, while wearing the mask people still risk infection as they keep pulling it down when talking and adjusting the mask frequently.

He noted that frequently touching the nose mask defeats the purpose for wearing it as the mask could become contaminated with the Virus.

Dr. Otoo urged the public to desist from touching the masks to keep them free from contamination.
