Ghana has recorded 574 new infections of the novel coronavirus, increasing the country’s Active Covid-19 cases to 3,313.
“A total of 574 new cases were reported on August 2, 2020. These are samples that were taken from the period June 23, to August 1, 2020 but reported from the lab on August 2,” the Ghana Health Service confirmed on its portal.

The recoveries/discharges, according to the Service, are now 35,563 representing an increase of 1,250 since the last update.
In its latest update, GHS said the death toll has also increased to 199.
