Government is to construct 17 District Hospitals in the Greater Accra region as part of Agenda 111 to build hospitals in districts without them.
The beneficiary districts include Ablekuma Central, North, and West, Accra Metropolitan, Ada West, Adentan, Ashaiman, Ayawaso Central, and Ayawaso East.
President Akufo-Addo announced this when he inspected ongoing works at the construction of an infectious disease centre at Dodowa in the Greater Accra region on the last day of his Greater Accra tour.
