Nurses are being encouraged to accept postings to underserved areas in Ghana to enable government to address the barriers in delivering a universal health coverage.
Interacting with students of the Community Health Nurses’ Training School at Fomena in the Adansi North District of the Ashanti region, the Minister for Health, Kwaku Agyemang-Manu noted that most Community-based Health Planning and Services, CHPS Compounds across the country have inadequate staff, and this hampers quality health care.
