Karaga District Hospital records zero maternal deaths in 2020

The Karaga District Hospital has for the first time in ten years last year recorded zero maternal deaths.

This achievement has been attributed to the hardworking and dedicated staff of the hospital amidst challenges and the fight against the global COVID-19 pandemic.

At the 2020 Annual Performance Review of the hospital at Karaga, the Medical Superintendent, Dr. Barihama Adam expressed gratitude to the midwives and called for the support of all to continue to provide quality health care to the people.
