Manifesto to ensure equity and sustainable health system launched

A Health Manifesto to ensure equity and sustainable health system has been launched by the Civil Society Organization (CSO) in Health.

The manifesto will be used to engage political parties to commit to strengthening Ghana’s health system by increasing investments in the sector.

It also seeks to implement proposals outlined by CSOs to ensure that Ghana is on track to achieve the SDGs by 2030.

Speaking at the launch in Accra, the Advocacy and Communication Lead, Planned Parenthood Association of Ghana, Archibald Adams said with the Manifesto, the CSOs will demand and ensure that voters, aspiring Members of Parliament and the next President of Ghana will prioritize health by ensuring that the proposals in the manifesto are addressed.
