First Lady of the United States of America, Mrs. Melania Trump has donated a Photo Therapy Machine to the Greater Accra Regional Hospital, formerly Ridge Hospital in Accra.
The machine is to be used to treat neonatal jaundice in babies which is a common condition in newborn babies.
The donation took place on the first day of Mrs. Trump’s two day visit to Ghana.
She also interacted with Ghana’s First Lady, Mrs. Rebecca Akufo-Addo.
The two discussed how they can collaborate to enhance the health and welfare of children in Ghana.
