The cost of immunization in Ghana, is said to be on the rise without a corresponding increase in Government’s co-financing commitment to Gavi, the major financier of immunization.
In view of this, the Hope For Future Generation, an NGO together with other Civil Society Organisations are asking the Ministry of Health to prioritize immunization by including its financing in the National Budget.
The Executive Director of the NGO, Cecilia Senoo has therefore called on stakeholders to help ensure financing of immunization is prioritized in the health sector.
