The Municipal Director of Health Service, Dr. Margaretta Gloria Chandic has stated on the GTV Breakfast Show that the advent of the new Coronavirus Omicron variant requires that everyone needs to be on the alert.
She said vaccination is available to all in every locality, and therefore, individuals must take advantage of it and get vaccinated against Covid-19.
According to her, some Ghanaians are adamant about the virus and not abiding by the safety protocols.
“Until the last person stops spreading Corona we will still have the Corona with us” she stated.
She also said if Ghanaians will be more receptive to the vaccine, and take the bold step to get vaccinated, it would help Ghana to achieve herd immunity, as desired.
