A devastating accident occurred on the Kasoa overpass on Friday, August 30, 2024, leaving two people, a mother and daughter, with severe injuries.
The incident involved a Honda private car with a DV number plate, traveling from Cape Coast to Accra.
Eyewitnesses report that the accident was caused by a gaping hole in the middle of the road, created by a removed iron joint.
The car somersaulted after hitting the hole, resulting in severe damage.
The victims have been rushed to a nearby health facility for further examination and treatment.
The Police have towed the damaged vehicle to clear the road and facilitate traffic flow.
