The Chief and People of the Kete Community in the Krachi West District of the Volta Region have pledged their support for the creation of the Oti Region.
Addressing journalists in Accra, the Chief of the Community, Major Abu Safiano Baba reiterated the need for the creation of the region.
He said the decision for a new region is mainly for administrative purposes and not for ethnic issues.
