The Kintampo Research Centre says deeper research into biomedical health is paramount to the overall wellbeing of the country.
The Centre is known for leading the campaign and efforts to change from chloroquine to artemisinin in the fight against malaria.
As the Centre celebrates its 25th anniversary, it urges government to prioritise funding to the Centre so that research such as the current vaccine to prevent malaria and ongoing efforts to find ways to totally eradicate meningitis are carried out without hustle for the benefit of Ghanaians.
