Lockdown: Drinking bars, night clubs, pubs remain closed; food chains, restaurants to operate delivery services

Drinking bars, night clubs and pubs are to be closed while food chains and restaurants are advised to operate pick up and delivery services only for the duration of the partial lockdown.

However, facilities such as hotel restaurants and gyms are to be opened to resident guests only.

These are contained in a number of directives outlined by CEO of the Ghana Tourism Authority, Akwesi Agyeman, at a media briefing in Accra.

Mr. Agyeman advised staff of organisations exempted from the lockdown to ensure that they always carry their identification and said the National Security will provide special buses for the transportation of such staff to and from work.
