The National Council on Persons with Disability has called on government, corporate Ghana and philanthropists to come to their aid during the two week lockdown.

Speaking to GBC’s Nana Ama Omari, Chairman of the National Council on Persons with Disability, Yaw Ofori Debra, said most of its members are facing economic difficulties because they do not have any sustainable source of income.

He explains that even though government has assured the council of its support, members need some form of cash transfer to survive during the lockdown and Personal Protective Equipment (PPEs) to protect themselves.
