The season two of Ghana’s leading obstacle challenge course competition dubbed, “the Maltavator Challenge”, has started in Accra.

The event on Saturday saw hundreds of hopefuls registering to participate in a range of physical and mental obstacle course activities at Legon Ajax Park in Accra.

The competition is expected to move to Takoradi, Kumasi and Tamale with anticipation of selecting top six (6) finalists to represent Ghana in the Pan-African.

Ten (10) finalists were selected from Accra and another ten (10) finalists will be selected in the next event at Police Reserve Park in Takoradi on Saturday 10th November 2018. This will be followed by Kumasi and Tamale events on 17th and 24th November respectively.

“The Maltavator Challenge has tested our patrons physically and mentally which is symbolic of the challenges we face in our daily lives. In essence, we are saying that the Malta Guinness is your motivator to spur you on to achieve greatness,” the Brands Manager of Malta Guinness Ghana (organisers) Roland Ofori said.

The top six (6) finalists from Ghana will later battle other competitors from Nigeria, Cameroon, Kenya, Ethiopia and Cote D’Ivoire for the ultimate prize of $20,000 in the Pan African finale to be staged in South Africa in January 2019.
