McDAN donates sanitisers to GBC

The McDan foundation has donated gallons of hand sanitizer to the public service broadcaster, GBC in Accra. This is the foundation’s way of helping the staff stay safe, in this challenging period of the corona virus pandemic.

The Head of Corporate Affairs of GBC, Mamley Asare who received the items on behalf of the Corporation expressed GBC’s appreciation to the company, adding that the gesture is timely.

“We are very grateful to you from the McDan foundation and Dr Daniel Mckorley for the gesture, every day we as a corporation would have to provide water and soap and hand sanitizers for our customers, workers and visitors which is very difficult but by your timely intervention by supplying us with these hand sanitizers we more than good to fight well against the Coronavirus.”

Chief Operations officer of the McDan group of companies, Richard Torku, who presented the items to the management of GBC thanked management and workers for a good work done so far in the fight against the deadly Coronavirus.

According to him, this donation is just the tip of the iceberg and promised more items to the national Broadcaster for the good work for mother Ghana.

“We appreciate your presence with us. We are grateful to you for your good works. As you continue to lead the Broadcasting industry with accurate news, good content and factual reportage, we shall bring you more items to enhance your work to protect us all as a people.”

The McDan group will be distributing hand sanitizers to selected hospitals, security agencies, traditional authorities, organisations and some communities across the country.
