Medeama’s CAF Champions League campaign has ended after TP Mazembe completed a 4–1 aggregate victory with a 3–1 win in Lubumbashi.
The Ghanaian champions travelled to the second leg needing to overturn a one-goal deficit from the first meeting in Tarkwa, but Mazembe quickly took control.
Patrick Mwanungulu opened the scoring in the 16th minute, and Kazema Baso doubled the home side’s advantage eight minutes later.
Mwanungulu struck again in the 78th minute to put the tie beyond Medeama, while Dominic Amponsah’s late goal in the 87th minute offered little more than consolation.
Mazembe advance to face Zambia’s Red Arrows FC in the next round. Medeama must now shift their attention to the 2026–27 Ghana Premier League as they prepare to defend their domestic title.
