When you’re a royal you can expect more than a potted plant as a house-warming gift.

To mark Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s move into Frogmore Cottage next the soon-to-be parents will receive a present from the Queen so valuable no-one else can buy it.

According to Vanity Fair, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been invited by the 92-year-old monarch to pick out some artwork from her private collection.

The royal art collection isn’t just any old paintings — it’s the largest privately owned collection in the world, made up of more than a million works from artists like Andy Warhol, Leonardo da Vinci and Rembrandt.

Getting to pick paintings from the royal art collection seems to be an honor the Queen likes to give newlyweds in the family.

When Prince William and Kate Middleton were married in 2011 they were also allowed to pick several works for their Kensington Palace and Anmer Hall homes.

Meghan and Harry have been carrying out $5.4 million worth of renovations on their new home, with Hello! reporting the couple will move into Frogmore Cottage in March.

The renovations include the installation of a $91,000 eco boiler, childproof windows and an interior design job by top stylist Vicky Charles, The Sun reports.

Charles is responsible for the interior design of Soho Farmhouse, the luxe retreat of the private members club where Meghan and Harry often frequent.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will reportedly be using vegan paint infused with eucalyptus and rosemary oils to decorate their “gender-free” nursery.
