As Ghana joins the rest of the world to mark May Day tomorrow, Parliamentarians are calling on government to improve the conditions of service of workers.

The Member of Parliament, (MP) for Ledzokuku, Dr. Okoe Boye who made a statement to commemorate the Day also touched on the need to protect workers pension funds.

The MP for Tema East, Daniel Nii Kotei Titus-Glover who contributed on behalf of the majority leadership commended government for releasing the workers tier two pension fund to private companies for management on behalf of workers.

Minority Leader, Haruna Iddrisu said workers at the lower level of the echelon like mortuary workers must not be left out.
