The National Commission for Civic Education NCCE is to receive a special package from the government to aid in the fight against the Coronavirus.
Government will today provide the Commission with 10,000 locally produced nose masks and cash to enable it to effectively carry out its responsibilities.
President Akufo-Addo announced this during his ninth COVID-19 updates.
The President said the government has further extended this gesture to other frontline actors engaged in the fight, with the presentation of five thousand PPE to members of the media.
He said government is putting in place resilience and recovery plan with the aim of finding resources to strengthen the productive sectors of the economy and also resources to finance 88 district hospitals and seven regional hospitals.
