NIA questioned over rejection of non-digital address holders

The Center for Socio-economic Studies, (CSS) has expressed concern about some officials of the National Identification Authority, (NIA) refusing to register individuals who are unable or unwilling to provide their digital address code.
A statement signed by a member of the Center, describes the practice as wrong, discriminatory and inimical to the overall purpose of the Ghana Card Project.
The statement said officials must desist from that practice and return to areas they refused to register the people.
It also urged all public service providers to stop refusing services to persons who do not have the Ghana Card.
