The Municipal Chief Executive of Nkawkaw Yaw Owusu Addo has expressed concern over the way some people in his jurisdiction have resorted to invoking the dreaded Antoa deity on his assembly revenue staffs.

He lamented that such an unfortunate development had compelled him to visit the town in the Ashanti Region on three occasions to revoke a curse.

Mr. Yaw Owusu Addo said this at the three years celebration of the installment of Kwahu Obomenhene, Nana Effah Openamang, at Kwahu Obomenghene in the Eastern Region.

Nana Effah Openamang used the occasion to caution all citizens of Nkawkaw to desist from invoking the spirit of the gods or “duabo” and use dialogue to settle any misunderstandings that arises among them.

He warned that anyone found calling on deity on another person will be seriously dealt with in accordance with the tradition and custom.
