Over 200 private SHSs risk closure over low levels of enrolment

About 280 private senior high schools face threat of closure in years to come due to poor enrolment of students.

PRO for the Conference of Heads of Private Second Cycle schools, Kyei Baffour, says job losses are not the only problem faced, but the more than 280 schools that will have their facilities rendered useless, while government is struggling to provide facilities for students of the Double track system.

Mr. Kyei Baffour said this in an interview with Ibrahim Kwarteng on GBC’s current affairs programme, ‘Behind the News’.
