Parts of Accra to go without water today

The Ghana Water Company says it will cut water supply to some customers in parts of Accra Tuesday, June 23.

This is as a result of repair works to be done on defective pipelines and valves on some transmission lines, leading to a shutdown of the Weija Plant.

A statement signed by its Director of Communications, Stanley Martey said the exercise is expected to last for 24 hours.

Areas to be affected are Weija, Mallam Junction, Gbawe, Anyaa, Awoshie and Dansoman.

The others are Kaneshie, Lapaz, Nii Boi Town, Achimota and surrounding areas
