The Chairperson of The National Commission for Civic Education, (NCCE), Josephine Nkrumah says political vigilantism is a criminal act and must be treated us such.
According to her all those who aid such activities must be brought to book.
Speaking on GBC’s Current Affairs programme, ‘Behind the News’, Mrs. Nkrumah noted that, her outfit will hold a roundtable where all stakeholders will be allowed to delibrate on the issue.
Her comments follow recent activities of vigilante groups in the Ayawaso West Wuogon by- election and the skirmishes at the National Democratic Congress, (NDC) office in the Ashanti region which led to the death of one person.
